CYOA Tales of Lona: 'Under the hood' thread

I'm going to consider this the 'under the hood forum' where we discuss mechanics and what not. We''ll be playing on the new thread, hashing out confusion and arguments here!

I tried to leave it open the first time and nobody seemed to pick up on it, so i made the options this last time(new cyoa skepticism?).
but this can kinda go whereever it goes. I would like people to input thoughts and not just have me make rigid choices for them. But I want to update this fairly regularly; the panels only take me a lil' bit of time to make and they're kinda fun. So I'll keep this going as long its fun, and there's interest in it.
Basic rules: it's a fantasy world, Main character is Hiekya, everyone is the world and it's circumstances, have some fun.
But for now I gotta go, morning meetings nonsense. I'll see if there are more response when i get back then, I'll respond.

The first time I looked at this thread I didn't even realize what it was - you should have given a bit more info, especially about the main character: Does she know any magic? Is she any good at sneaking and such? How experienced is she? What does she carry with her? And so on.

Anyway, what to do:
Check the job boards for anything of interest, then Examine the patrons of this bar and see if anyone catches her attention or if anyone is showing too much interest in her, and then Talk with the bartender and see if he knows anything of interest (such as rumors).

Yes I realized that it was a bit of problem, which is why I fixed it up a bit. I'll manage skills and Inventory in the first post from now, but for the most part a lot of her development is going to rely on everyone; so dont mess her up to bad XD. I'll manage the first post real quick and work on the response.
I'll reopen free response on this next one. It will include choices, but then you all will also be able to freely suggest things (if there are too many, I'll have to pick and choose favorites)

what i want to know is how changeable is this cyoa example lets say make her drink a potion that lolify her, some kind of petplay around town, bestiality, bondage tentacles and many more like what are you willing to take following a story of course

>Most of the bar's patrons seem quite involved with there own conversation, doing an exception job of ignoring that there is a goblin wandering their drinking hole. There is, however, a rather large man sitting in the corner. Heikya is unable to lucidly see his face thanks to the hood of a rich burgundy cloak with gold trim, but he seems to be observing her move about the tavern.

Wow XD you are on it! I'm going to give it a bit more time, though. Responding to one action at a time would take lots of time. I'm think I'll wait for response and do two at a time, then give next options

go speeak to the farmer, then go to the shops to buy good gear and then you have a cow to fund and a beast/bandits to hunt

Go speak to the farmer and learn as much as you can about the task at hand (especially if there are any time limits), then decide whether to visit any shops based on the info. Might be a good idea to buy a bow, but it depends on what she'll learn about the "bandit troupe" and whether or not she needs to hurry.

(8 gold pieces lost, +1 shortbow, +5 arrows , +1 to gather information) (more specific item naming is needed if you want her to go looking for specific things )

Well, since there's no rush:

Seek out the supposed bandit camp and scout the place from a safe distance. Attempt to determine the exact number of bandits and what the non-human really is (preferably without getting herself spotted by anyone).

What happens after that depends on what she will see (and whether she gets spotted or not).
