It's technically one. Heat lasts indefinite until you get the one, and then will last the remainder of that particular day. So screwing in the morning will guarantee the Heat goes away, but you'll be dealing with it the rest of that day.

Oh they're like wiki pages. Weird.
Yeah, not sure about that format. You need a substantial amount of content before you can release in that format, which it doesn't look like they have particularly large amounts of. It's doable for sure, but it takes a lot of time.
Gotta say i'm preferring this community driven cyoa: much easier on me, and I hope it kinda makes you all feel like you're actually making descisions. :D

That I do enjoy as well, along with the fact that we get some nice artwork to boot and, honestly, I can't believe some of my own ideas are implemented into this.

Yeah, and most of those is just between the two people who are posting in those threads. I haven't seen any others besides two people, and that's it.

Ya know, I had an idea to turn an rpg maker game I once tried to make into a cyoa, but for fear of it turning out like the first thread I made, I've kind of been putting it off. Any chance you wanna give some helpful advice to those who might try making one of their own?

Well. First: Don't try to make everyone happy, or risk going absolutely insane.

Second: Sometimes in order to make as many players happy as possible, you make up another solution that nobody has suggested. Try to make it reminiscent of what people have suggested, but going word for word is going to cause the character to be schizophrenic.

Third: relax. This isn't your real job (maybe). If it's going to be too much stress to do an update on an update day, apologize to your players, and deliver on time next scheduled update day.

Forth: Have an idea about where you're going with your story. It reduces stress by a ton!

That's all I really got XD. That's what I've been doing this time around.

Update!
Also added a new section to the 'Playing' section of the rules. It's called examination. It may be handy...
Also also: added Appraisal to character skills!

Update!
I’m alive again, yay! Sorry for missing that update completely, but I was dead till yesterday morning :D
So guys, I think i'm going to go ahead and make it so that these are only a Tuesday update. There's not enough response sometimes between Tuesdays and Thursdays to put together a nice rounded out post, and unfortunately those are the only two days I can work on it :/ Plus slowing down makes it easier to produce better posts and what not!

If it makes things easier for you consider also posting content without pics possibly adding them later. Or doing talk 'around' the game and current events.

Also how does religion/spirituality work in Lona?

Well... it exists. In the previous iteration of the game, Heikya ran into a bunch of clerics and paladins trying to exorcise a demon. So definitely there are churches and religion.
This is the first anyone has asked, so I have neglected thinking about it. I'll have to come up with some rules and mechanics concerning it.

... Eh, it can still work, just use the dagger in replace with the hand, keep the flat end against the slit and, hopefully, we don't have to some stabby-stab

Fair point, but I was actually referring to the fact that in the news post, out of the ten or so people she did this to, two got away with their wallets and crotches intact. The first pretended to only know spanish until she gave up and the other was a woman. (I guess she wasn't into giving women handjobs for wallets.)
P.S. I couldn't decide if I should put this here or in the 'Tales of Lona' thread, since this has nothing to do with the game BUT it is in response to a post within the game. So, I just put it here.

Hey, quick question I had on the drakes concerning their fire breathing. How does that work? I realize Mana is probably way too low a level in hunting for this to even matter at the moment, but I'm just a bit curious. Is it science (two chemicals stored up like venom until they mix in the mouth,) or magic (each must learn from their parents?)

I actually thought about this! The drakes stomach acid is quite flammable. Have a extremely fire retardant digestive system, and valve that regulates when the stomach actually is receiving. This actually allows them to store small treasures in their esophagus without issue and regulate the gas the expel. They have a small inner tooth in their jaw that ignites it. The flames they spew are actually pretty harmless and the burn their fuel quite quickly.

So it's more for show and intimidation factor than as a weapon, huh?
