You're free to contribute with anything you want. Look at me, I do morphs, sprites, lvl concepts, etc.

If you know how to run photoshop (my Aquilles heel), you can do some coloring (you'll find all the artwork in page 24)

It is a very nice redraw indeed.

Brock is finished, Oak is close, and I have found 2 sprite characters that would work well as Flint or as gangsters, as well as some others that may be useful. Do you want them as separate sprites or shall I post them as an 8-pack?

It doesn't matter which way you post them. I'll be able to read them either way.
Just make sure you don't save them as JPG files.

I have to admit what you have already is extraordinary.

Anyway, as far as being helpful, do i just make artwork for any pokemon? What i mean is, anything is fair game to post unless there is a sign next to it saying "we will use this"?
Like, can i post pokemon that arnt on that list yet?

Even if they have the sign of "will use" you can do something, but it has to be good enough to re-open the voting. So first think if you can do better than the one that won the poll.

We only have the restriction of 1st gen pokemon only.

Sorry if misspelled any names. I understand that we dont need the middle evolved forms, but should that change please let me know. Anyway, if i draw it out on paper, will someone else be able to make the outline on illustrator? I dont own a copy of that program.

Also, sorry but i cant seem to get my gamesave from the clipboard. It says its on the clipboard but when i try to paste it, it doesnt paste. Could it be because i am on a mac?

If the sketch is clean enough, I usually just color & shade the sketch.
But the best program I know of for inking is Paint Tool Sai. You'll get great results even if you're just using a mouse.

The save data is actually a huge amount of text. If you try to select it manually and copy it, you'll probably miss most of it because the window scrolls. You actually don't need to select any of it. When you save the game using the "clipboard" button, the game automatically copies all of it to the clipboard. After clicking the button, the very next thing you should do is immediately open SimpleText and save the text.
I should probably make it impossible for the player to manually select the displayed text, in order to avoid this problem.
When you want to load the saved game, open your text file, press ⌘+A to select absolutely everything, copy, and then paste it into the game.
