Heya SL, long time lurker, first time poster etc.

Just played through the latest release(hadn't played it since the first teaser) and first off, I love it. Second, to respond to your sort-of-still-open-ended-question about difficulty? please don't make it easier. If you make it easier it will make me sad and when THAT happens I'm not terribly Dom-y. NOBODY wants that, trust me. It ain't pretty.

I have to say I love Simon's character - it's so rare that you have a Dom like him that can be reluctant without all the angst and his analytical nature, combined with a taste of Grumpy Old Vet, make him a spectacular protagonist and I immensely enjoy they way you've developed him so far. I wholeheartedly appreciate a character who has the maturity to adapt to changing scenarios, a willingness to ACTUALLY do what it takes to win and thick enough skin that attempts to goad him into acting emotionally fall completely flat. You've also(from the limited time we've had with her) done an excellent job with Robin's dialog - she really does feel like his Daughter, with a similar mindset and mannerisms. I do truly hope we get to add her to the harem, since Daddy-Daughter stuff is a particular kink of mine when it's done right and she's just -such- an adorable little thing. I do feel as though Aka's been a little...flat, though I suppose that's largely because she got mindfucked so early on and I -do- love her constant "what the fucking fuck?!" faces. A-fucking-dorable. Simon though - whotta lead. MAJOR props, sugar.

In general the difficulty is largely nill if you're taking advantage of saves and the free hotels, which, when combined, make screw-ups 100% the player's fault for not remembering that golden rule: "Save often." Believe me, been there, done that, got the T-shit, wasted hours of grinding, cussed up a storm. It sucks. But the game warns you when you're getting into Somethin' Fun or when the enemy set is about to change and frankly it's refreshing to have to think during battles, even if it's only a little.

The only areas I had trouble with were the first forest with Tal

in your party, since Everybody Sucks At Everything until you grind up a little though honestly the nearness of the free "hotel" just made it a minor annoyance more than a real problem and of course those fucking fell spiders in the SE house (which, again, an NPC warns you about ahead of time). Seriously, fuck those spiders. XD The money/exp balance is good so far, forcing intelligent decisionmaking on the player's part rather than obscene grinding(always a plus).

The dialog's well written, the sex scenes are fun and definitely right up my alley(they could be a little more rapey but then that runs the risk of breaking Simon's character; I'm too possessive to want OTHER guys to get in on the action so this isn't a problem so much as wistful pining) and while I personally found Fucklord to be way awesomer than Incubus King (and more hilarious because everybody says it with a straight face), alas I was too late to cast my vote. Definitely interested in seeing what direction you take this and eager for the next update(I may skip a few so I can play through a big block of it at a time). Thanks much for putting in the time and energy to do this for us and thank you for writing English with sufficient eloquence and solid enough prose that I enjoy reading what you've written, rather than what Every Other RPGMaker "Project" does. Which is usually pretty awful.

Yup, Robin is joining the harem eventually. This game might be about delayed gratification sometimes, but it's a porn game in the end. ^^

While rapey is not my main thing, you'll get a few chances for some more of this with future characters. I am big on variety in sex scenes.

I think "Fucklord" is hilarious too, but ultimately I think people are right about it not representing the project. For those of us who like it, however, rest assured that the moniker will return in a different context where hopefully it won't break people's immersion.

Regarding future updates, the next one is kind of standalone, but then after that it will take a few to fill out the next big block of the story. Those will be good for playing in a chunk if that's your preference.

Nothing wrong with delayed gratification - just makes the end result that much sweeter. I completely understand sweet delicious rapey goodness not bein' your thing - it's nowhere near as common a kink as the internet would have us believe - but appreciate you attemptin' to branch out in the name of diversity. And 'cuz, y'know, I like that stuff. >.> Don't let dirty old men like me talk ya into steppin' outside of your comfort zone(unless you're into that!), though - I have full confidence in you to deliver an awesome story and will most certainly pleased with whatever you end up throwin' our way. You've got an incredible world(not just for a porn game!), fantastic characters and a great storytelling ability so it'll all work out in the end.

I can't offer much assistance, since I don't have any real experience with RPGMaker nor am I an artist, but as a part-time smut writer myself I'm always happy to at least throw the offer out there. You obviously don't need an editor but if ya need some menial descriptions, flavor text, dialog or scenes cranked out I'm generally free to put a few hours a week towards somethin' productive. And porn is ALWAYS productive.

Thanks again for being awesome and for giving the community something worth getting excited about - it's always nice to get a project that brings something fresh to the table.

I had 5500 when I finished, however that was without doing the brothel deal so I could have gotten more.

The other question I had was, how does having sex effect the PC. I only ask because the dialogue mentions that he will gain more power the more sex he has, however I didn't actually see any change after sleeping around in the brothel.

Other than those two questions, great game with a unique take on the smut rpg story.

Only thing i remember is that is means you can Mind Dominate those Orcs easier. Otherwise you might have to fight and kill them.

Actually it does affect your relationship with the girls in your harem, Aka does not like it, and Yarra does. -When you are in the blue rose for example talking with the girls will show ju a title - describing their satisfaction and role in the team, if you sleep around a lot Akas becomes worse and Yarras better.

Your dialogue with Megail when you strike the bargain will change depending on how much money you have, and her respect for you changes accordingly. It's not relevant now, but it will be later when you're trying to raise her affection values.

And, of course, money is its own reward. The 50k wasn't just an arbitrary requirement for the section: that money will eventually translate into economic power that you'll be able to use for plot and character-related stuff.

The other question I had was, how does having sex effect the PC. I only ask because the dialogue mentions that he will gain more power the more sex he has, however I didn't actually see any change after sleeping around in the brothel.

No combat stat changes right now, sorry for being unclear. It's true that sex = power in a lore sense, but he'd have to sleep with more than a few prostitutes to see a significant change. As mentioned, it does impact your relationship values.

I'm not just saying it, I swear! XD My design document is pretty massive, and I put a ton of thought into making the cast of characters diverse in multiple ways. But I haven't emphasized it because 1) I think people are tired of overambitious projects that are never completed, and 2) knowing some of the overall details would make certain parts of the game very predictable.

As for money, you guys seem to be doing a good job with that, so I'll just drop a few things:

1) There will be some choices, but this game will not be a good/evil branches thing. There will be some things that change your experience somewhat, maybe enough for some people to do another playthrough.

2) I would like to add pictures, but I'm not making any promises I can't deliver on personally. For example, I've done some promising work with Vestige (you can see a little somewhere back in this thread) but he hasn't replied to my emails in a while...

Right now it has no direct impact. Eventually it will unlock character-specific content and a few gameplay or story perks (I have plans for this, but they're not as concrete as some of my others). Aka's quest raises her affection by 10, you must have done something else between then and the previous time you checked. You will have lots of chances to raise people's affection to 100 (where it's locked), but I don't know exactly how many total.

In the inn, sleep on the bed. (Inn which you recieve a coupon for by the female merchant who you help with the slave people earlier...) You'll meet your daughter who is a Mage. And it will unlock the Academy (Which your daughter is at)
