Svenja arrives just in time as the legionnaires cast off the ropes holding the ship near the dock. Marius watches her report from the docks. "You had better get onbord now... there's no stopping." He said as they began to drift out towards the marsh, thankfully she was able to climb over the side at the last minute her feet dangled over open air for a split second before the legionnaires pulled her aboard. Marius nodded to her and looked forward toward the coast. "Our patrol is rather simple, this boat will take us up along the coast to the edge of the marsh, from there we go south down to camp Hjaalmarch, then back south west to Morthal and from there we march to Dragonsbridge and back to Solitude then repeat. It usually takes a few days if we're being thorough." He informed them.

"So, we're going around in a circle?" Svenja had the look of excitement on her face as she eyed Marius with a sign that she was ready to let the adventure begin, and to get a fresh start in this Civil War. The thoughts of glory and honor quickly took to the mind, a fantasy stirred up in which she envisioned herself as being a hero of Skyrim and a legend within the Empire. Soon however, this trip in to imagination land came to an end due to the sudden appearance of another ship out in the horizon. The distance did not allow for a perfectly clear visual to be made, obscuring the identity of the lone sea vessel. "We may possibly have company.."

Marius looks off onto the horizon squinting. "Are you sure its not just a wreck? There are several along the coast..." He said with a little edge in his voice. The other men looked a little nervous at the suggestion and Svenja got the impression these men weren't trained in ship to ship combat if it came down to that. "If the imperial navy let another pirate ship through I'll take it up with the admiral himself." Marius muttered as they continued down the coast.

((Up to you if its a manned ship or just a wreck))

Svenja motioned forward, enclosing to the bow of the vessel in order to get a better glimpse of the mysterious ship. It appeared to be moving, albeit slow and lazily. "If it is a wreck or abandoned then there could be people who need help. But if it's an enemy ship, Pirates or Stormcloaks then we must stop them.." Svenja spoke with assurance as she turned around to get a glimpse of her comrades. Many of them looked uneasy about this but she herself remained focused. "Captain, should we not investigate it?"

(I think it should be manned, just to add in some excitement to this. Much better than doing a page about us being on a boat..)

"Normally we would leave this to the navy." Marius said with a sigh. "But it appears to be moving and heading directly at us. Archers and mages, to the port side!" about a dozen out of the fifty legionnaires started shifting through the crowd and began readying themselves as the others began readying themselves to repel any boarding parties. Marius picked up his helm and drew his blade quickly assembling the men into a phalanx with Svenja at the front just behind the ranged troops.

As the vessel moved closer it was clear the legion would be outmatched, the ship was much larger than it appeared on the horizon and the fact that it never opened fire made it clear they had plenty of men to board with. The legions ranged units attempted to damage the combatants on board but their arrows and spells were deflected by magical barriers that seemed to spring into place. Marius called for the ranged units to fall back as sailors on the ships deck began throwing grappling hooks onto the legions transport boat and the two were reeled closer...

Within a few minutes the deck was swarmed with dozens of pirates fighting with speed and cunning they started corralling the legionnaires into a tight group in the middle of the deck. While there were no casualties so far on either side it was clear the legion was outnumbered. Now that they were clustered in the center Svenja glanced up to see a mage on the other boat finish a spell and the entire boat shook breaking up the legion formation. Svenja staggered forward and found herself locking blades with a pair of pirates that seemed to want to gang up on her specifically while others rushed past to engage the other Imperials.

In no more than a few seconds, the Pirate brigade had boarded the Legion's ship. Instantly a naval battle ensued, the Imperial forces collided against the invading Sea Dogs. Steel clashing with Steels soon took to the area creating an orchestra of war. Minutes ticked by without a single casualty to either force, this could be seen as either a blessing or an omen. If the Legion could not deal with Pirates quickly, then how can they fare with against the Stormcloaks? A well trained and spirited army who were better off than a clique of Pirates.

An incoming wave crashed against the Legion's ship, rocking the vessel side to side. This forced many on those aboard to lose their footings. Svenja was no exception, for a second she stumbled and staggered back and forth. Thankfully though, she remained standing, tall and firm. However though, two Pirates quickly took to a duel with the Nordic Warrior, their iron blades swung out in a fury and in return Svenja wielded out her steel Imperial blade and crossed it with her foes. "You will feel the cold embrace of Arkay soon enough!" She shouted to the Pirates in an intimidating threat. Quickly with the motion of her other hand she swung out her Imperial leather and steel crafted shield, in hopes of bashing it against one of the Pirates..

Svenja's shield connected with one pirates face as he rushed forward hoping to outflank her, he went stumbling into a sprawl on the deck but before she could finish him off his ally intercepted her sword swing and slashed at her forcing her back temporarily. The fallen pirate got to his feet and the two sprang into action again, this time she managed to sidestep a lunge and brought her shield down snapping the unfortunate pirates arm at the elbow. As he reeled in pain she decapitated him while his friend tried to move in to stab her. He was also unsuccessful and her shield slammed him into the deck again this time with no one to save him.

Svenja glanced around and saw to her surprise that Marius had already recovered the men and causalities had been kept to a minimum, both sides having minor losses. The superior Imperial discipline seemed to be paying off even against an overwhelming force. Before she could rejoin the main formation a large Argonian with a spear tucked under one arm and electricity cackling over his other glared at her. "You killed wrong crew mates..." He hissed lunging forward at her.

This naval battle seemed to be turning in favor of the Legion, they had only lost but a few soldiers while the Pirates numbers were dwindling fast! Svenja herself had contributed greatly, despite her inexperience in such a large scale Skirmish. One pirate had his arm snap, and another had been pummeled to the deck, joining the dead with his fellow sea faring criminals.

Victory though had yet to be achieved, the pirates hardly wavering in a fault despite their low numbers. Svenja gazed around among the living and the dead, hoping to catch the glimpse of another pirate that needed a good whipping, or see if any of her allies needed assistance. Sadly the only thing that came to her vision was an approaching green scaled Argonion, this one appeared to be bigger than any other. With a spear in one hand, and electricity in the other this could prove to be difficult. Svenja accepted this challenge, regardless of this Battlemage. "Bring it on, Lizard!" Scenja shouted an insult at the Argonion as she prepped for the duel. Raising the shield higher up to protect most of her body, with the steel imperail blade placed beside the defensive armor, now she was ready..

The boat shook again as more boarding parties arrived but Svenja's attention was locked on the Argonion charging at her. She raised her shield in anticipation of his strike but found the lightning arcing from his claws struck first nearly paralyzing her from the currents that rocked through her body. She dropped to the deck and only narrowly dodged a spear to her head. Svenja lashes out with her shield attempting to knock the Argonion over but he plants his foot firmly on her chest forcing the breath out of her lungs. Her body is sluggish after the shock and its hard to continue fighting. "That was a good shot no?" He asked through his sharpened teeth.

Things seemed to be taking a turn for the worse, one minute Svenja managed to fend off a few of these Pirates and now she was nearly defeated from the shock spell and having a boot stamped down on her chest. But this Nord woman is tough, something like this would not be enough to subdue that fighting spirit. Despite the inability the draw in breath Svenja still managed to scream out in a loud booming voice of fear and intimidating, releasing a devastating war cry that could frighten even the most battle harden veteran. This was her last ditch effort for freedom, hoping it'd be effective enough to frighten off this Argonian that had her trapped.

Svenja's shout seemed to shake some of the regular crew but the Argonian didn't even flinch. "I love the sound of a defeated nord... I hope you can scream that high when I have you bent over the ships railing." He said with a snicker. Svenja saw the legion begin forcing its way toward her at Marius's command but the giant lizard leaned down to throw her over his shoulder and started heading back towards his ship. The legion might not be be able to stop him in time unless they cut through the small army of pirates still on deck.

How could that not work on an Argonian? It was obvious alright that this Lizard was much more than a simple Buccaneer, no way could one resist the war cry of a Nord. Svenja glared up at the beast, with her eyes showing a bit of hopelessness in the iris's, those words he spoke of were they true?! Regardless, Svenja would have none of that. As she was being lifted her fighting spirit regrew in her soul. She began to kick out her legs and jab her fists to the Argonian's back. In a moment of desperation she called out.."Marius!"

Try as she might Svenja was unable to direct any serious blows the Aragonian as she bounced on his shoulder. He slapped her ass hard and let out a growl. "Behave Nord... if your more trouble than you're worth we might just decide to serve you as a meal to the non humans." He suggested licking his lips with a chuckle. As he stood on the railing ready to jump to the other ship an arrow struck him in the shoulder almost ruining his balance a little shove and he'd go flailing into the ocean probably with her as well. She glanced back to see Marius had picked up a fallen bow and was already notching another arrow as his men shoved aside or struck down any intervening pirates.

Finally, a chance for freedom presented itself and it's all thanks to Marius and his expert shooting with a bow. Not wanting to let this moment pass by, Svenja quickly reached out to the arrow that was embedded within the Argonian's shoulder. With a pulling tug, she managed to yank out the blooded arrow. "You filthy Lizard! This is what happens when you trifle with the Imperial Legion!" Svenja quickly propped herself up against the Pirate Captain who was teetering on the railing, nearly losing balance. With a bit of might and rage, Svenja stabbed the steel tip of the arrow right into the Argonian's neck making sure that it pierced right through the jugular vein.

Svenja twisted to attempt to stab her captor. Due to her aching injuries from the lighting blast and the awkward angle of the attack she merely threw the Argonian further off balance and the two of them went over the edge of the railing. The lizard hissed grabbing onto the rail as Svenja tumbled back behind him. He grabbed her by the wrist with a grunt before she could tumble into the icy waters or be crushed by the hulls. His claws dug into her flesh a little as he kept his grip tight trying to haul her back up.

An idea quickly stormed within her mind. Below her and the Argonian laid the near frozen water which had claimed the lives of many thay drowned within the ice. The idea was that she could fall within the water and bring this pirate along with her. Due to being a Nord however, she could easily tolerate the freezing temperature, but could the Argonian? Well, it was worth a try at least but how effective could it be? Quickly, Svenja latched a hand to the Argonian's tail and began to pull on it. Her other hand was unfortunately clutched by the Lizard and is claws were digging within her flesh. Despite this, Svenja continued to pull and pry at the pirate captain, trying to disengage him from the ship.

With a strong tug and the use of the ships hull for leverage Svenja the Argonian broke free from the ship and the two of them tumbled down and landed in the water thankfully avoiding any thick ice. The two of them struggled for a moment swirling around in the darkness and while her Nordic blood helped against the cold it would be unbearable if she stayed in it to long. The cold blooded Argonian however began to panic and flail as his life force slowly faded away in the dark waters. Still recovering from her shock Svenja found it difficult to swim and soon realized she was sinking to the bottom... her vision blurred and faded into darkness.

Svenja awoke gasping for air and found herself in a damp cave half freezing to death. Looking around she saw no evidence that suggested how she got here, only a long passage with a faint glowing light up ahead. Her clothing had been striped from her and hung wet nearby on a few stalagmites nearby.

"W-where am I? How did I get here?" Svenja's mind ran wild with these puzzling questions of mystery. One minute she was combating pirates with her fellow Legionnaires, and now she was standing within an icy cave, cold and naked. This clearly did not sit well with her, obviously though someone was around here inside this icy grotto. And she had noped that whoever this person was, was gentle with her as she slumbered in a coma, usually if someone wakes up naked they'd assume some type of incursion had taken place. Thankfully Svenja could tell that nothing of the sort had transpired, giving her the idea that the anonymous person was friendly.

The blue illuminated light that shined brightly at the end of a tunnel gave Svenja a clear indication as where to go, perhaps she'd even meet the person who very well saved her life? But she was in no condition for a greeting, after all she was stripped of her Imperial gear that had become too damp to wear, and dressing in them would only lead to worse things, not smart to wear wet clothes in the cold. "Well, I guess I have no real choice.." Svenja shook her head as she crossed an arm over her bare busty chest in an attempt to conceal those womanly mounds. Then she proceeded towards the light in limping steps, keeping her legs together as a means of shrouding her naked vagina.

Following the blue light Svenja wandered through the dark caves until she found an open chamber lit with braziers that burned bright whitish blue instead of red. In the center of the chamber was a statue of a tall beautiful woman wearing a thin dress of some kind that barley hid her body. Her proportions and features seemed almost divine and it was hard to imagine how the sculptor had managed the feat of carving it from... Svenja wasn't sure but it looked like volcanic rock of some kind. Just as she was done studying it a voice entered her mind. "Well done mortal, I see you've survived the cold. When I plucked you from deaths door I was unsure if your will would be enough to drag you back from the edge. In any case it was not whim that made me spur deaths advance. I have need of an agent in your world." The voice paused for a moment letting Svenja take in these words.
