A Feca on the Rise [Voff]

[Ocfos]

"Maybe, yes. You still need to work on your shields, though." She says, giggling into her drink as she finishes it.
"I'm probably going back to our room to read a little before we get called."

[Voff]

"Well if you're up for continuing to help me with shields another time, I'll get it pat down in no time", Reghar said with a grateful smile. "I'll see you later then". Maybe today was his lucky day and he'd be picked for the guard. He figured he could just as well spend the remaining time waiting at the meeting point unless he could find anything interesting to do on the way.

[Ocfos]

Molly gets up and heads back to the room, giving a little nod of acknowledgement before doing so.
The rest seem to still be eating, some of the Iops laughing loudly as they seem to be taking food from one another.

[Voff]

Reghar can't help but shake his head as the noisy Lops. Why would they start taking food from eachother? They could just get up and get some more. He started to walk off to the spot were they were all supposed to meat up and figured he'd wait for the rest to get ready.

[Ocfos]

Reghar is alone for a good 30 minutes, but soon the rest of the guards and recruits start to arrive. A middle aged Feca steps out from the barracks as well, looking over the row of people as she walks past.

"Alright recruits - Some of you know the drill by now, but we got some new faces here today."

She glances over at Reghar, as well as a few of the others.

"I'm going to select two of you to escort the offering to Burlsa, and some of you have purposefully been sorted into rooms of one newcomer, one more skilled."
"Those who are not picked will be set to guard the city in case bandits, beasts, or other hostiles show up to take on the town."

She paces back and forth in front of the row, looking over the recruits. She holds her arm up to pull something akin to a list up from her Reflector bracelet.

She stops in front of Reghar, and Molly.
"Molly Stoneheart, Reghar..Your last name is missing from my list, recruit." She says, raising an eyebrow at Reghar. Everyone looks over at him, including Molly who turns her head to look at Reghar when she hears that, seeming very confused.

[Voff]

Ahh... Well this is just typical, but what the heck. "My last name is Lysbringar. I don't know why that would not be on your list..." Not seeing why that should be a problem he just stayed his ground.

What this old timer of a Feca wanted with his last name was a mystery too him though. Hopefully he would get this opportunity though, and he wanted to show Molly he was not useless and could deal with what ever was needed to get done.

[Ocfos]

"Editorial errors happen from time to time, recruit. You and Molly are to escort the wagon, it being crucial that you make it there within two days. The wagon waits at the southern outskirts of the town, you two."

Molly salutes her superior, seeming pretty dedicated.

[Voff]

Awsome! With Molly by his side he did not even consider the possibility of this going the wrong way. He had been hoping that he was picked since he started working towards this and he got his chance to move forward. He saluted as well and got himself ready.

[Ocfos]

The feca nods, before nodding her head towards the direction she wants you to go.
Molly starts walking almost instantly, seeming to expect Reghar to follow.

[Voff]

Rhegar follows suite barely half a step behind. They were on their way to work with the proper guard and he'd be damned if he were to hesitate now.

[Ocfos]

Molly doesn't say anything as they walk, leading Reghar towards the city outskirts, where the supply wagon waits.

Molly starts to climb up the right side when they get to it, using a wheel to get up further.

[Voff]

Reghar follows suite. He can't help but looking over at his cure partner though as she climbs the wagon. How could this get any better? He was picked for the mission and he had a talented and gorgeous partner. This was exactly the thing he had wished for. As Molly was trying to mount the wagon he couldn't help letting his eyes wander to her rather flattering backside.

[Ocfos]

Reghar doesn't get much of a view under her skirt, unless he was to follow pretty much right up behind her.

Once she's seated at the front of the wagon, she looks over to Reghar, waiting for him to get up as well.

[Voff]

He promptly follows his senior and gets up on the wagon.

[Ocfos]

"Alright Reghar, are you ready to head out? Should be a 10 hour wagon ride, since we have to take a few side-roads to get there." She asks, holding the reins for the two powerful pack-birds meant to haul the heavy wagon for them. She seems to just be waiting for a response so she can tell the birds to go or not.

[Voff]

"Good to go", Reghar was more then ready to go. At least there was nothing else he could thing of that needed handling before they headed off. "Let's get this round going. There's probably nothing going to happen, but if anyone dares mess with us I feel sorry for 'em", he finished with a wink.

[Ocfos]

Molly gives the reins a little snap, which makes the two birds squawk as they start to drag the wagon along the road.

[Voff]

Excited for what their journey would bring Reghar was barely able to remain still in his seat. He tried to shift his focus on the horizon however to catch any trouble before someone got the jump on them.

[Ocfos]

Their ride us uneventful for the first hour, but they're soon met with a drizzle, which quickly turns into a heavy downpour.
Molly grunts, deploying a bubble glyph on herself, causing a little barrier to appear which simply makes the water bounce off. It is, however, only sized for one person. She seems as if she expects Reghar to be able to do so on his own, as she isn't even looking over at him whilst steering - even despite being soaked to the bone herself.

[Voff]

Reghar gave a shake from the rain chilling him to the bone. He was about to voice his complaint just as he saw how Molly quickly dealt with the situation with a simple glyph. Damn it, I should have thought of that He hurridly tried to copy her before she noticed. Suddenly he was aware that he had kept far too much of his focus on Molly rather then his task so he started shift his focus to their surroundings.
