If you're by yourself, certainly!
It's a bit trickier with friends, even online ones, because they can be really funny even while tipsy. Or even not inebriated at all!
Also, being particularly sleepy often has the same effect of making me giggle at freaking everything

Particularly with friends. I've had many a dry late-night convo go on till 4AM, saying the dumbest things back and forth and laughing till my mouth aches.
