Legend of Krystal Forums

When will the full version be released to the public? Because, I love this series like most of you and would like to see new ones. I know it takes a while, but it's been about a year since the last one i believe? Anyone know when it will? Did anything happen to the series that caused it to stop or something like that?

It's been pretty dead for a while now. Various scenes and stuff prop up within the forums, but unless someone proclaims that they have taken over and will stick with v0.3, it won't get done. It's a damn shame, I've been with this forum from near the start and seen loads of projects rise and fall, but I hoped the original would eventually get done, as it had a really good idea. Ah well, there are other projects going on within the forums which can be lurked.

Ren has said he's working on it with egg plant. No release data is set.
I will say that Ren doesn't have the best track record.

But yeah it's still being poked at. Mostly by Ren right now because I'm currently doing a couple commissions but when I'm done with those I'm going to close commissions so I can work half on random nonsense and half on the LoK project.

Just remember that the term "official" doesn't actually mean as much as you think. It's really just another project being made by random people like every other project. It's mainly referred to as the official game because it's what started the forums in the first place. . . . . Well that's what I figured anyway.

But yeah it's still happening but at baby steps

Can't believe I'm saying this, but can we have a thread that doesn't derail into bashing on Ren? Really there's nothing either side can say, that hasn't already been said and it'll end the same way, most likely with a mod locking this thread.

i've missed quite a bit but i was always good with computers. if someone can send me a link to get programs and editing i'll fiddile around with some stuff and make V2.5 i dont want to be the one ti finsih the game but i sure as hell will if i have to. im looking forward to playing the final version of LOK

Agreed, and it's not like it really helps more then just playing out frustrations and causing people migraines that are not needed at the moment.

Given that the game is FREE and only a few are actually working on it..Why bother bashing? Lol

On an unrelated note. If they released Flash for free I would definitely start trying to contribute with code and etc to help people that can draw and also provide story XP Alas, any "free" version would be considered illegal outside of it being a free trial. Sad face.... x.x

Unless someone started a free flash maker project, then most people would try to use that. And not one of those rpg maker ones either.

Sorry to disapint but that is not v0.3 mate. It's just an edit on the v0.2 game and funny-games got the name wrong.

Its funny, if you google "legend of krystal", one of the first autofill options is "legend of krystal 2"

How does Google determine its auto-fill (autofill?) anyways? Does it depend on popularity of the website/popularity of the search? If so, then this site must be visited a lot (or at least searched a lot.)
Also, the other top searches are "Legend of Krystal v4" or "Legend of Krystal 4."
